I Hate L.A.
While those of you L.A. pals bask in the warmth and sunshine of SoCal, I am stuck at home under three inches of snow. Actually, the reports say we should get about another eight to ten inches before it’s over. My normal commute from work, which normally takes thirty five to forty minutes, took an hour and a half because the roads were not plowed as of 11:30 p.m. Most towns have a stupid rule that there has to be four inches of snow on the ground before they start to plow, needless to say I had to drive at about twenty miles per hour the whole way home. And of course rv3 calls and leaves me a message on my cell telling me about how beautiful the weather is in L.A. around eighty degrees. ARGH!!
Now that I got that out, I think I will call out from work tomorrow and take myself to the slopes. Since I broke my foot and we have not had much snow, I have not been able to get any skiing in this year. I love to go skiing (I know I know… cant you just imagine me in a bunny suit?). I have a friend who likes to join me on the slopes, the only thing is that he believes the only way to warm yourself up is to do shots before heading down the trails. Needless to say, we end up tipsy and quitting around mid-day and heading to the bar in the lodge. Then I have to call Andy to pick us up because we can’t drive and I spend too much of my hard earned cash (actually Andy’s hard earned cash since I only work part-time). Now that I think about it, I will call Ed in the morning and hit the slopes!

I can just see you in a bunny outfit, staggering down some god-forsaken rock, with a bottle of Thunderbird in hand. That's a pretty hillarious image.
and pretty accurate...
Just don't go killing yourself. A drink now and then is fine, and skiing is alright, too, although why you'd wanna stand on a pair of planks and slide down an icy rock is beyond me...but like I said, don't go breaking your foot again, or worse.
Nick should know about drinking! As for Thunderbird- don't forget to drink it from a paper bag for the full effect.
pink bunny outfint... how appropriate.
Dapatoti. It was cold today...it was 72 degrees!
;-)
Send pictures of yourself skiing and post them on this blog.
